Adding a Column

There are two options when it comes to adding a Column in Elementor. These are the right-click and the Editor handles. In this article, we will discuss both.

Right Click Methodology

The first option is one of the easiest to use. What you need to do is to go to the section and hover in the middle of the current section. Then you need to right-click on the column icon that is located on the left. Then there should be some options displayed. Find the option that reads “Add New Column” and then click on this to add the new column.

Using Handles

Now there is another way. This is by using Editing Handles that are included in the sections of the website.

The first step is to open the Elementor toolbox menu. Then you should click on the button with horizontal lines to the upper left corner of the page. This will open up the Elementor menu.

You should then head to the preferences menu. Then you can toggle on the Editing Handles.

Then when you move back to the page, you can hover over the edit column icon on the section that will reveal the handles. The handle functionality includes adding, duplicating, and deleting columns with ease.

You can click on the ‘+’ icon which will add the column.

Now you can make changes to your column.
