How to Create a Category Page in Elementor

The first thing to consider is the reason why we create category pages. For one, they’re a useful navigational tool. Categories can be listed on the website’s blog posts, product pages, and more and users can click on the category to see other content that is included in the category. It allows you to get fans of a particular topic to explore what you have to say about that particular niche.

It can also be a good way to create lists of content on your website that are all relevant to each other without having to manually create the pages. And there are significant benefits for SEO as well. Therefore, categories and their pages are really important if you want to rank high and perform well online.

Unfortunately, Elementor cannot change the category page. However, that doesn’t mean that you can’t create a new page that lists all the blog posts that are under the category that you want to list. The problem is, this can sometimes get messy, even with Elementor and it can sometimes showcase the wrong content.

So the best option is to edit the existing WordPress category pages on WordPress.

To do this all you need to do is go to the Posts section of your website and then to the ‘Categories’ section. You will see a list on the right side that has all the categories for you.

Hover your mouse over the category page that you want to change and then click on the ‘Edit’ button below.

Now you will be redirected to another page. There, you can edit the ‘Name’, ‘Slug’, ‘Parent Category’, and Description of the category page. In the Page Title section, you want to change the title of the category page to the title you want to use. Be sure to make this as URL-friendly and SEO-friendly as possible.

Then You might also want to fill in some of the other data points as well. You can even include text to go on the first page.
