How to Use Template with Elementor

A template is a basic design within WordPress that has the style, content layout, and even some basic features included in the design that are pre-made. These templates can be applied to a blog post or website page to automatically create the look of the page, which can then be adjusted and customized, new content added in, and more actions taken.

Templates are an excellent tool that can help speed up the creation of a website. Or can make adjustments easier. You can create a template once and then deploy that against all the pages/blog posts that you would like.

A consistent-looking website has numerous benefits to the owner. For one, audiences prefer to know that a brand is consistent. So using the same template for all blog posts or pages is reassuring to them. It also means that they will know where to find certain elements like the share buttons, the call-to-action, and more.

Another benefit is that it can make adjustments at the global level much easier. When you need to make a change to an element that is on a template, you just need to make that change once. Then the change will be pushed out to all the pages using the code. For example, say you need to change the location of the image from the left side of the screen to the right, then you make that change in the template and the rest should follow suit.

To use a template with Elementor you must first have a template. You can create a template by going into a blog post or page and creating the design. Then you can save that page as a template for future use. Alternatively, you can use a template that has already been created.

The first time that you want to insert a template, you will be prompted to connect to your free Elementor account to access the template library. This is a free account that you can register at the same time if you don’t already have an account.

To add a template, create a new page or go into the page/blog post that you would like to add a template to. Click on the ‘Add Template From Library’ icon. Then you can view all available templates. When you’ve found one that you would like to use, click on the magnifying glass icon to view the template. You can then click insert to select the template. This will add the template to your website.
