However, there are challenges with these. For one, if the developers lose interest or cease trading, you might be left with a plugin that isn’t compatible with future releases of Elementor or even WordPress.

Then you would need to find a new solution and in the meantime, your website will be compromised.

Here are the steps to activate Elementor Pro on your WordPress website:

1. Download the plugin. After purchasing, log into your account at elementor.com. Navigate to your account’s Downloads section and download the Elementor Pro plugin as a ZIP file.
2. Upload it to WordPress. In your WordPress admin, go to Plugins > Add New > Upload Plugin. Select the ZIP file you downloaded and click Install Now, then Activate.
3. Go to the License screen. In your WordPress sidebar, go to Elementor > License.
4. Click “Connect & Activate.” You’ll be redirected to the Elementor website login page.
